The Negociante Jeans explore the contrast between the farm worker and the business person.

Built on an oversized, dark-blue denim silhouette, the jeans feature the MARFILLY Peso Cross, this time incorporating the 100-peso bill. The 100 pesos represent the world of business, commerce, and negotiation, creating a contrast with the 20-peso Peso Cross featured in the Los Peones collection.

Where the 20 pesos represent the daily pay of the laborer, the 100 pesos represent a different side of the economic spectrum—the negociante, the person who buys, sells, negotiates, and conducts business.

The two designs are connected by the same Peso Cross, but the value changes the meaning. It becomes a visual reminder of the distance between the person doing the labor and the person making the deal.
